By Aside from being 52 and a bit “cuddly” – you already got that from my intro, you might want to know a bit more about the person behind the blog.
My name is Chris, I am married and a dad. I work (lots) and am still trying to get on top of the DIY in the house we moved in to just over 3 years ago. I grew up reading Henry Treece, Rosemary Sutcliffe, Susan Cooper, J R R Tolkein, C S Lewis etc. etc. and have never really moved on all that much, just gathered more authors along the way. I encountered Judge Dredd and all the rest of the 2000AD characters when I was 8 or 9 and fell in love with Star Wars shortly afterwards – you probably get the picture.
I love making things, cooking, socialising, watching good films, bingeing on TV series and drinking lots of vodka.
It would be fair to say that I am unique in the way that all people are, and yet have the self awareness to know that I am nothing special, no better or indeed all that different to anyone else.
