Here we go!.

This is my very first “proper” blog post and it is all being done in a bit of an unseemly rush (which I will probably have to come back to and tidy up) but I really wanted to start my blog today because… I had set the Summer solstice as a deadline day to start doing something by and that is today – can’t start faililing at things already can I.

So, you are all wondering, what amazing thing did he do today to start off his blog on things he does to not be boring? I got out of bed. No, that’s not the start of an incredible story, that’s what I did; my amazing thing was getting out of bed. However, this occurred at 4.30am so I could see the sunrise on what turned out to be a beautiful mid Summer morning. It was surprisingly warm and the air was as fresh as you could wish for. There were just enough clouds to really give the rising sun something to shine on without spoiling things – couldn’t have asked for a finer start to what has been a great day. I will try to work out how to get a picture on here so you can see what I mean. (Hurrah, hurrah – managed to get a picture on here!).

I will try and make sure my next post requires me to do something more than just not be unconcious, thanks for reading and speak to you soon.
